• New long-range modulation. The state-of-the-art, 100% digital long-range modulation offers the same great audio quality (10 Hz – 20 kHz) as our Standard modulation scheme with a longer range for both line-of-sight and heavy multipath transmission. Both Astral Mini and A10-RX Modulation menus must be set to “Long Range” in order to receive RF signals.  
• Support for Astral Remote’s new Group Control menu. Allows setting changes to apply to a group of transmitters. Group Control menu items include RF Power, Mode, Modulation, Mute Mic, Format Media, and LEDs. 
• New Allow Extra High - 40 mW RF Power setting in the Astral Remote Options menu. This setting must be on in order to have the Extra High - 40 mW setting in the RF Power Menu. The option is off by default. If an Astral Mini's RF Power is set to 40 mW prior to updating to v5.00, the setting will be changed to 20 mW.

• Support for Astral Remote group powering and recording. Allows for control of power on, power off, record, and stop of all transmitters or custom groups.
• New “LEDs” menu via Astral Remote. Provides options for turning the Astral Mini LEDs on and off. 
• New “Resume record state upon powering on” option via Astral Remote. When active, the Astral Mini automatically resumes recording if the transmitter was recording when last powered down.

Change

• Jamming timecode while in record mode now begins a new WAV file stamped with the jammed timecode value.  

Fixed

• Fixed issue where batteries could drain when Astral Mini was left connected to a timecode source or a powered off PowerStation-8M. 
• All Astral Mini transmitters inserted in a PowerStation-8M now reliably mount as mass storage devices to a computer. 
• Fixed issues where timecode could get out of sync.
• Rare events where Astral Mini goes unresponsive after disconnecting USB-C without first ejecting from the computer no longer occur.
