MixPre II Series as Audio Interfaces for Tablets and Phones

The process described below is for connecting a MixPre II to a mobile device. Function and connectivity will vary based on the mobile app. Not all audio or calling apps allow USB audio. We have tested Zoom and Garageband. The following set-ups have been verified with the MixPre II Series but may also work for the first generation MixPre Series.

2-in/2-out audio interface to iPad (models with a USB-C port). iPad Pro will power the MixPre-3 II or -6 II in this configuration.
2-in/2-out audio interface to iPhone/iPad. Since this adapter cable has a power input, the iOS device can be charged at the same time. You will need to connect a USB wall charger to the camera kit adapter power input.

Android
MixPre-10 II USB-C port can be used as a 2-in/2-out audio interface but compatibility is mixed and unpredictable. A Samsung Galaxy S4 running the Audio Evolution Mobile 5.0.3.2 app on Android 10 has been tested successfully.

iPhone/iPad (Models with Lightning Port)
As a 2-in/2-out audio interface to iPhone/iPad (w/lightning port) using the powered Apple Camera Kit adapter, compatibility is mixed and unpredictable.
