Download Unboxing Astral TX Transmitters for the First Time PDF
When the Astral TX transmitters are powered on for the first time, the screen displays the following message: “To start, pair the Astral TX with the Astral Remote iOS or Android app”.
Pairing with the Astral Remote App (iOS or Android) enables full control of the Astral Series transmitters. Once paired, the message will not appear again on Astral TX. The initial pairing process requires the smart device with the Astral Remote app, an active internet connection, and both Bluetooth and location services enabled. This one-time initial pairing is to authenticate the transmitter and country settings. The country is automatically set by Location Services from the mobile device. It is the user’s responsibility to operate on allowed frequencies in their region. Make sure the associated ARX32, ARX16, ARX8, and Astral RX receivers are set to the same country as the Astral transmitters. Use the steps below to pair your Astral TX to your Astral Receiver:
- Confirm the Astral transmitter is in pair mode.
- From Astral Remote’s “Manage Devices” window, touch the Pair box to add a checkmark and pair the Astral transmitter to the mobile device. The Astral transmitter exits Pairing mode once it has been paired with the mobile device.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions displayed in the app to continue. Once paired, the Astral TX screen exits back to the home screen and its top panel LED stops flashing blue.
